As a Platform Manager at Ezypay, you will:
Lead DevOps Initiatives: Set and guide the direction for DevOps across the company
Ensure System Reliability: Perform operational procedures and ongoing maintenance to support site reliability
Develop and Maintain Platforms: Plan, implement, and test modular, welldocumented, and efficient platform programs
Collaborate with Engineers: Work across the Engineering to uphold and drive progress on technology standards
Compliance Support: Maintain ongoing compliance with PCI DSS requirements
Architectural Input: Contribute to defining system architecture for both software and systems
Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee a team responsible for AWS cloud infrastructure, monitoring (Datadog), CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI), and database management (RDS)
Focus on Availability: Prioritize high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery
Lead and Mentor Team: Grow your team, fostering professional development and growth for your direct reports
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant Information technology industry experience
5+ years industry experience with an in-depth understanding of distributed cloud platforms
3+ years experience with containerised platforms on AWS
Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals
Experience leading a team
Good working experience with Java
Good understanding of security best practices in the context of web applications
Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Working knowledge of a modern SDLC management methodology, such as SCRUM, Kanban
