As a Platform/DevOps Engineer working on the Core Technology Platform, you will have the opportunity to work in a team building global-scale software solutions to enhance the ownership experience for customers and lead technology advancements of mobility. We are looking for platform engineer who can own the end-to-end automation of software delivery process from platform/DevOps perspective and enable developers to deliver software in quickest time, business to realize the value of the new/enhanced technology capability in record-times and customer find quality and desired functionality in every interaction with the automotive brand software that is part of either web/mobile or vehicle. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic about solving new problems.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in data center/AWS Cloud-based DevOps.
Experience of provisioning AWS Cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework, Serverless Application Model.
Experience in setting up CICD for code build, test, deployment, and delivery in GitLab/ GitHub/Jenkins.
Expertise in AWS foundation concepts: Networking, Security, Compute, Serverless, Containers, Monitoring, Application Reliability.
Experience of working with the development team to come up with a secure, highly available, scalable, cost-effective AWS Cloud native solution
Experience working in the areas of application monitoring and troubleshooting.
Expertise in coming up with cost-effective solutions.
Strong leadership abilities in driving operational excellence and best engineering practices.
Knowledge and passion for current trends and best practices in software development, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
Familiarity with quality and deployment tools such as SonarQube, Argo CD, and GitHub Spot Runners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good team player with the ability to work with the team and partner teams throughout the software development lifecycle to achieve organizational goals.
Have strong foundational knowledge in Cloud concepts, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Containers, Serverless.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability issues.
Able to provide hands-on technical guidance to other team members.
Very good understanding of CI/CD principles and cloud deployment strategies.
Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes or similar tools is a plus.
