The Role:

As a Production Reliability Engineer on the Trading Desk team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and operability of their real-time trading environment. This team is the backbone of the production system, responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and deploying changes across a high-stakes, low-latency infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with traders, developers, and exchanges to optimize systems, mitigate risk, and build automation tools that enhance scalability and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and continuously improve the production environment, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot large-scale trading systems and exchange connectivity.
• Develop DevOps tooling for configuration management, deployment, monitoring, and data analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose complex system issues and drive solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years in IT operations (DevOps, SRE, Linux/Network Engineering) with a strong systems focus.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python and shell scripting; familiarity with C++ is a plus.
• Deep expertise in Linux (kernel, networking, performance tuning) and networking concepts (routing, multicast, VLANs).
