Job Summary (Scrum Master - RBC, Minneapolis, MN)

Role: Senior Scrum Master (6+ months contract to hire)
Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site 2 days/week)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate complex software projects from initiation to implementation.
Coach and guide Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
Manage project schedules, status reports, budgets, allocations, and ensure timely delivery of goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, business, platform stakeholders).
Identify and mitigate project risks, manage dependencies, and resolve issues.
Drive adoption of Agile principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
Develop and implement Agile strategies to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
Track and report on metrics to measure project performance.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Must Have Qualifications

10+ years’ experience delivering medium to large software projects (planning, scheduling, budgeting).
5+ years’ experience in payments technology or related field.
5+ years’ experience as Scrum Master or similar Agile role.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
Ability to manage project and business risks and dependencies.

Nice To Have

Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD).
Payments technology domain knowledge.
Exposure to other Agile/project management frameworks.
