JOB DESCRIPTION
The ERP/JD Edwards DevOps division provides continuous support to Product Development, Quality and Product Management teams. Additionally, the team continuously strives to develop new standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Role Objective: Short Description about the Role
In this role you will work closely with Development, Quality and Release engineering teams to support, maintain & configure environments – includes building & deploying applications & tools, configuring, product mastering & delivery, patching and troubleshooting across various operating systems and database servers. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for supporting ongoing automation projects towards developing a provisioning system and also responsible for framework enhancements. Also, should be able to handle complex projects and to train and mentor junior team members.

Qualification
- Possess B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech/ MCA degree in a field relevant to functional area
- Possess 3-5 years of JD Edwards CNC experience
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of functional area
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well both in groups and independently.
- Attention to details & strong analytical and engineering skills.
- Demonstrate good project management and decision-making skills
Special Skills
- Versatile experience in application management & support, user interaction and issue resolution.
- Rich knowledge in JD Edwards Enterprise One (E9.0, E9.1, E9.2) installation, upgrade, CNC administration, technical and development tools, Oracle, IBM, MSSQL databases.
- Exposure & working experience in Linux, Windows and iSeries AS/400 operating systems
- E1 Tools Upgrade
- Package builds
- Weblogic & WebSphere administration
- Extensive multi-foundation experience, ESU’s (planner & non-planner) software updates (ASUs), baseline and tools release upgrade/rolling back to existing release.
- Rolling down E1 Interoperability methodologies like BSSV server, RTE Transaction server into E1 architecture, setup and configuration, troubleshooting.
- Real time troubleshooting
- Performing various types of security: User based, System based, Action security.
- Performed OCM modifications (local & Server) as when required.
- Worked on JDE Kernel configuration and recycling mechanism.
- Mapping path codes, Environments, data sources.
- Object Management Workbench (OMW) & development lifecycles
