Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to manage and optimize production environments through advanced application support and DevOps methodologies. You'll be integral to enhancing platform reliability, operational efficiency, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of the production environment.
• Define strategies for application performance monitoring and optimization.
• Respond to incidents proactively, leveraging feedback to continuously enhance platform stability and reduce incident recurrence.
• Support and automate code deployments across multiple environments.
• Develop, standardize, and enhance monitoring and alerting systems for applications.
• Engage throughout the full lifecycle of services, from initial design to deployment, operational support, and ongoing improvements.
• Conduct ITSM analyses and provide actionable insights to development teams for operational improvements.
• Support pre-launch activities including system design consultation, capacity planning, and readiness reviews.
• Facilitate the CI/CD pipeline, driving DevOps automation and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and maintain live services, ensuring optimal system health, availability, and performance.
• Advocate for sustainable system scalability and automation practices.
• Collaborate effectively with global, geographically dispersed teams.
• Provide knowledge sharing, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
• Participate in rotational on-call duties with occasional off-hours support.

• Linux
• Shell scripting
• ITIL/ITSM methodologies
• PL/SQL
• Application troubleshooting
• Monitoring tools (Splunk/Dynatrace)
• Jenkins (Basic CI/CD)
• Groovy scripting/YAML (basic)
• Git/Bitbucket (basic)
• REST and Web API support
• Cloud-based application support

Preferred Skills:

• Ansible/Chef experience
• Event-driven framework architecture experience
