Position Summary:

SRE: (Site Reliability Engineer II)

Ensure system reliability, scalability and efficiency through monitoring and automation practices of production systems. This role will apply software engineering principles to solve operational challenges while maintaining a strong focus on incident prevention and system resilience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• System Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system performance and reliability.
• Automation & Efficiency: Implement automation tools to enhance system efficiency.
• Architecture & Development Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to improve system architecture.
• Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues promptly.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Documentation & Processes: Document system processes and procedures. Conduct postmortems and drive continues improvement.
• Operational Support: Participate in on-call rotations to support system operations.
• Capacity Planning & Scaling: Assist in capacity planning and system scaling.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Contribute to the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skill:

• 3 years of experience in site reliability engineering or related fields.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in site reliability engineering practices and tools.
• Experience with monitoring and automation solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in scription (Python, bash, etc.) and automation
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of networking and security
• Ability to work under pressure during incidents
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development and operations teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into quality-focused test strategies and to communicate progress and risks to stakeholders
