One of our companies is currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer in Slovakia.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure. You'll partner closely with engineering teams to build CI/CD pipelines, automate core operational processes, and ensure the smooth operation of cloud-based platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from Slovakia, with access to the latest technologies like Kubernetes and AWS. Accountabilities:
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that ensure high availability and efficiency
Automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes across cloud infrastructure and applications
Participate in on-call rotations to support system reliability and performance
Mentor engineers and contribute to fostering a DevOps culture across the team
Lead efforts to scale AWS-hosted platforms and improve monitoring and observability
Champion performance improvements that enhance build quality and deployment speed
Collaborate on infrastructure projects that directly impact production environments
Requirements
4+ years of experience in a Site Reliability or DevOps role within a SaaS environment
Strong knowledge of AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms) and containerization technologies like Kubernetes
Solid foundation in software engineering principles and proficiency in at least one programming language
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems
Experience with observability tools including real-user monitoring (RUM), tracing, and performance metrics
Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
