One of our companies is currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Claroty FedRAMP AWS GovCloud (Public Sector) in New York, US.
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and compliance of cloud-based environments deployed in AWS GovCloud for public sector customers. You will work with a variety of cloud technologies, driving automation, enhancing system performance, and ensuring FedRAMP compliance while collaborating closely with other teams to support and maintain mission-critical systems.
Accountabilities:
Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure in AWS GovCloud, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and federal cybersecurity standards
Monitor and enhance system performance and scalability, leveraging observability tools, automation, and industry best practices
Implement and maintain security controls that align with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and other regulatory standards
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using Terraform and Ansible
Automate deployments, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to system resilience using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
Respond to incidents, conduct post-mortems, and ensure timely recovery of critical services
Work closely with DevOps, security teams, developers, and federal stakeholders to maintain a compliant and secure cloud environment
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required to work in GovCloud environments
3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible
Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, including FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and cloud security best practices
Experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
Strong skills in Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash)
Proficiency with logging, monitoring, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
