We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with experience in Siebel CRM to join our IT operations team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of system reliability, scalability, and performance with hands-on experience managing and supporting Siebel CRM environments. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the availability, resiliency, and efficiency of our enterprise CRM systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Siebel CRM environments (including Siebel Gateway, Application, Web, and Database Servers).
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues related to Siebel CRM and associated integrations.
- Develop and maintain automation tools/scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Work closely with application developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and reliable operations.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for Siebel CRM systems and services.
- Implement best practices for incident management, change management, and system observability.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, security, and compliance policies related to Siebel operations.
- Maintain documentation related to architecture, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
- Familiarity with Siebel CRM, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting and automation.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and server security.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Siebel Open UI and integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- ITIL or SRE certifications are a plus.
