Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Prague (Hybrid)

📍 Prague, Czech Republic | Full-time | Hybrid working

I’m partnering with a major global bank with a strong and growing technology presence in Prague. The team has recently delivered a large-scale platform modernisation and is now looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help ensure these systems are stable, scalable, and well-automated.

This is a hands-on technical role within a global team, ideal for engineers with strong infrastructure knowledge and a passion for platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the stability of complex, on-premise systems (physical and virtual servers)
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to identify and resolve production issues
• Drive automation efforts using Python and modern monitoring tools
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and tooling for observability and alerting

What You’ll Bring

• Deep knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments
• Strong Python skills, with an engineering mindset (not just scripting)
• Good understanding of infrastructure fundamentals: I/O, memory, latency
• Experience with monitoring platforms (e.g., Grafana, Geneos, Elastic)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across international teams
