About The Role

We are modernizing a framework offering to adhere to industry best practices around TypeScript and Unit Test framework

Responsibilities

Preliminary analysis
Migrate to monorepo
Migrate unit tests to vitest (example PR)
Convert to typescript (optional per module)
Structural refactoring (optional per module)
Dependency injection for deprecating/migrating core functionality (e.g. observability, config, etc)
Pull up adaptor functionality from express/callback embedment (enable new frameworks)
Test and release new module versions in full SDLC

Basic Qualifications

Experienced web platform engineer with deep expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and building scalable internal libraries and frameworks.
Proven track record supporting enterprise teams with reusable tooling, API layer architecture, and performance-focused backend solutions.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $55.07/hour - $73.42/hour
